People grieve in different ways. There is no right or wrong way.
You can get support from our Colleague Advice Line and Compassionate Employers, they each have resources and support available for you to seek out to suit your individual circumstances.
Our Colleague Advice Line
The Colleague Advice Line is a free, independent and completely confidential service.
It’s called Health Assured, and is always there for you, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
You can speak to an advisor by telephone or webchat or access a range of materials and e-learning on their website.
They also have an app available in the Apple or Android app stores, search ‘Health Assured’

We’re also members of the Compassionate Employers programme. This is run by Hospice UK, and gives access to even more support, guidance and tools to support people experiencing bereavement and grief.
You can access this by logging into their Members Hub using the instructions below.
